BT Integration e.V. develops and implements programmes for migrants of different ages – from children to adults.
Our activities take place at several locations in the region and include both regular groups and individual projects and events.
Main focus areas
- Support for children and school pupils.
After-school activities, homework support, additional learning and creative groups. We help children feel more confident at school, understand the learning material better and further develop their German. - Language development for children and adults.
Regular German courses and learning groups for different levels, as well as support for family languages. We place particular emphasis on language for everyday life, school, training and work. - Cultural and musical projects.
A choir for adults, creative and theatre-based projects, joint celebrations and family meetings. Through music, the stage and shared activities we strengthen community spirit and mutual understanding. - Family and festive events.
Celebrations for families with a migration background, visits from Nikolaus/Santa, themed family days and joint performances with children and parents. - Educational trips and excursions.
Trips to different regions of Germany and abroad that help participants better understand history, culture and modern life and experience Germany and Europe “live”.
Examples of our programmes
At different times, the association offers, among other things:
- an after-school group for children supported by volunteer teachers;
- additional language activities for school-age children;
- German courses and language groups for adult migrants;
- a choir and other formats for adults that bring people together through music and shared creative work.
The specific offers may vary from year to year, depending on the needs of participants and available funding.
Planned formats
We continuously analyse the needs of our participants and develop new areas of work.
Planned formats include:
- a financial literacy club for people with a migration background (including online sessions);
- an expansion of online courses and blended learning formats;
- new thematic programmes for families, children and adults in cooperation with partner organisations.
The aim of all our programmes and projects remains the same: to help people with a migration background better understand life in Germany, feel more secure and take a more active part in social life.
